SMS Broadcaster is used for early warning messages of natural disasters in emergencies

Introdução:SMS Broadcaster is used for early warning messages of natural disasters in emergencies. Because SMS is outstandingly reliable, it is possible to broadcast it as an alert message during emergency situation such as natural disaster. The only drawback is that SMS heavily relies on cellular network; in case the carrier has connectivity problems due to hardware malfunction or (ironically) bad weather, recipients may not receive the message on time. In the event of potential calamity where timing is crucial, unreliable network renders the system useless. What if there is a way of sending countless yet managed SMS cell broadcast to multiple recipients without relying on the existence of BTS? Using this method as an emergency alert or warning can save millions of people from a catastrophic disaster.

Means of communication has gone a long way from simple face-to-face conversational atmosphere to wired communication over distance via telephone to wireless internet-based communication including video call. The use of modern mobile phones allows people to keep in touch with others without limitation of space. But before internet-enabled phone was even invented, SMS (Short Message Service) had been the primary text messaging platform. Until now, it is still the most reliable texting method compared to its internet-based counterparts.

UAI COMMUNICATIONS TECHNLOGY has come up with a smart solution to optimize the use of SMS as an emergency alert without even requiring cellular network. By using a broadcaster device called UAI COMMUNICATIONS, it is easy to send alert messages to every cellphone within certain proximity. It is location based, and the range can reach up to 5 km; UAI COMMUNICATIONS creates a geofencing area surrounding its location. The device has a user friendly GUI and can easily be operated via a laptop computer.

Military standard: UAI COMMUNICATIONS is built on military specification. Fortunately, the messages are sent in normal text, meaning everybody's phone does not need to have deciphering function to read the messages. A decipher is not common feature on mobile phone, so this is a real advantage. UAI COMMUNICATIONS does not need SIM card or internet connection to do the job; it operates independently.

Marketing purpose: because the sender's name is user-customizable, UAI COMMUNICATIONS can be used as a device for marketing campaign as well, similar to email marketing but it uses SMS. Depending on the country where it is used, permit to use UAI COMMUNICATIONS from local government may be required.

Cross-platform: one of the best features from UAI COMMUNICATIONS is its ability to send messages to nearly all mobile phone devices regardless of brands, bands, models, and network operator. The transmitter's operating standard is GSM, but the broadcast penetration ability copes with all major standards including GSM, UMTS, 3G, and even LTE, using multiple frequency bands: 850 MHz, 900 MHz, 1700 MHz, 1800 MHz, 1900 MHz, 2100 MHz, and 2600 MHz.

Fast: UAI COMMUNICATIONS does not need to know all active phone numbers used within its geofencing proximity. It acquires IMEI or IMSI number of all mobile phones in the surrounding area. It does support all major frequency bands, but UAI COMMUNICATIONS actually uses different network signaling technology so this transmitter can still send messages even when every cellsite is down.
